Let's Talk About Storms

Here's the thing, different storms come with different types of damage. This damage isn't unique to its respective storm, but is highly more likely to happen, given the environmental impacts. Here's a quick list of each type of storm we might face this summer in Baltimore and the damage it can bring along. Don't worry, SERVPRO of Baltimore's Inner Harbor will be there to fix up any and all of the issues you might face during this storm season!

• Rainstorm: can cause water damage, including flooding
• Electrical storm: lightning can cause fire damage and other explosive damage to your roof, siding, etc.
• Windstorm: can cause damage to the outside of your house via projectile debris or even falling trees
• Flash flood: can cause major water damage, typically worse than a rainstorm
• Hurricane: A very extreme and severe combination of all the above. Damage can range from mild to utter devastation.

There are plenty of other types of storms, such as blizzards and tropical storms, but those are much less likely to hit the Baltimore area during this season. At least, we hope!
